Edelrid Skye - Climbing harness

The Skye climbing harness from Edelrid is a versatile all-rounder that’s perfect for a wide range of vertical activities, such as hiking, climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, and ski touring. Thanks to its four-buckle design, it offers a wide range of adjustment, allowing for flexible adaptation to different body sizes and outfits. The butterfly-shaped hip belt ensures optimal weight distribution and increased comfort while hanging, while the fully opening, self-locking Slide Block buckles make it easier to put on the harness while wearing skis or crampons.
Of particular note are the parallel attachment points, which are equipped with textile abrasion protection made from an HMPE-polyamide blend, as well as the large central ring made of polyamide, which provides additional comfort when standing and securing oneself. The red wear indicator on the load-bearing straps of the hip belt and leg loops, as well as on the central ring, provides additional safety by signaling material fatigue at an early stage.
There are five gear loops for organizing your gear, as well as two attachment points for ice screw clips and a loop for a chalk bag on the back. As the size increases, the waistbelt and leg loops rise higher, allowing for an even more personalized fit. The Skye climbing harness is unisex and therefore suitable for all genders.
