Edelrid Absorber Sling

The Absorber Sling from Edelrid is a well-designed self-belay sling developed specifically for use in climbing and hiking. Made of high-quality nylon, its elastic properties provide excellent handling and flexibility. This extremely compact webbing energy absorber is capable of absorbing a standard fall with a factor of 2 in accordance with EN 355, with the impact force remaining below 6 kN. This ensures a high level of safety during your outdoor adventures.
The sling is attached easily and securely to the harness using a bowline knot. This ensures a stable connection that is ideal for securing the sling at a belay station or other anchor points. Please note that this sling must not be used as a via ferrata set. It is designed for unisex users and provides optimal support for both hiking and climbing.
