The facts at a glance
AKU Aurai DFS EVO GTX
The Aurai DFS EVO GTX from AKU is the ideal companion for challenging mountain adventures, whether you’re hiking, trekking, mountaineering, or ice climbing. This unisex hiking boot combines lightness, precision, and comfort to help you conquer even the most challenging ascents in winter terrain and on ice. Thanks to the waterproof Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort lining and 350 g of padding, the boot offers excellent thermal insulation, even during extended use in cold conditions. Primaloft inserts on the tongue and toe box, along with the anatomically shaped felt insole with aluminum foil, provide additional warmth and protection.
This boot stands out for its well-thought-out design: An elastic gaiter covers the entire boot and extends beyond the shaft to ensure maximum protection against snow and ice. The Kevlar upper and Spider Frame overlay provide impact and abrasion resistance as well as optimal freedom of movement. The Vibram Croda Litebase sole is compatible with automatic crampons and offers stability, grip, and precision, even on technically demanding sections.
Another highlight is the Dual Fit System, an exclusive AKU technology that allows you to adjust the fit by simply adjusting the two different lacing systems. Combined with the AKU Elica Natural Stride System, it promotes biodynamic efficiency, making walking extremely comfortable. With a high-cut design and a lace length of 130 cm, the Aurai DFS EVO GTX is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to compromise when hiking in the mountains.
