Tenson

In 1951, Paul Rydholm set up a small sportswear workshop in the Swedish coastal town of Varberg, alongside his sister and two seamstresses. Since the 1970s, Tenson has lived by the principle of “expert testad”: every piece has to prove itself with professionals in the toughest conditions. That’s why, in 1975, several leading climbers on the British Everest expedition chose the Himalaya Jacket, which remains the brand’s icon to this day. Today, Tenson stands for jackets and trousers for hiking, travel and days on the slopes, some featuring its own MPC coating, which keeps rain out while letting moisture escape.
