Ultra, Prime or Magna
The three Hawx lines differ mainly in width. Ultra is built on a narrow 98 mm last, Prime on 100 mm for most feet, Magna on 102 mm with more volume. The number after it is the flex: Atomic calls the 120 stiff and the 130 powerful. W stands for women's models.
Ski boot size in Mondopoint
Atomic sizes ski boots in Mondopoint, by foot length in centimetres. Measure in thin ski socks with your heel against a wall and go by the longer foot. In Atomic's size chart, sizes such as 26 and 26.5 share one sole length. Many Hawx come with a Size Adjuster that makes them half a size smaller.
AMID, HD, Photo and Q
AMID stands for Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector, the impact technology in Atomic helmets. HD lenses enhance colours and contrast, Photo lenses tint themselves. With Q, the lens is held by magnets and quick to swap.
Frequently asked questions
What does Memory Fit do?
During boot fitting, a local specialist retailer heats the shell and cuff of your Hawx, and both then adapt to your foot and leg. According to Atomic, this only takes minutes. The Mimic liner is shaped at the heel and ankle at the same time.
What does BOA mean on the Hawx?
On BOA models, a dial on the shell replaces the classic buckles; according to Atomic, you can fine-tune it in both directions. Dual BOA has two dials and closes around foot and leg from the shell up to the cuff.
Ski goggles in M or L?
M is the medium frame and, according to Atomic, suits most faces, including narrower ones. L is larger and intended for wider faces and anyone who likes more room.
Will my prescription glasses fit underneath?
Yes, on models with OTG Lite. According to Atomic, the frame then has extra cut-outs for the arms of your glasses, for example on the Revent M HD, the Revent Q L HD Photo and the Savor M Stereo.
How long is the warranty?
Atomic gives a two-year warranty on manufacturing and material defects, counted from the date of purchase. Atomic handles warranty claims via the retailer. So write to our customer service and have your receipt to hand.
All-mountain ski boot for narrow feet and sporty skiing. According to Atomic, the Prolite shell is light and reinforced at key points; on the 130 S BOA, Thinsulate keeps your feet warm.
Ski helmets with AMID and a 360° Fit System that adjusts width and height. The Revent GT combines an ABS hard shell with in-mould construction; Visor models have a built-in visor instead of goggles.
The Hawx for medium-width feet, in many flex ratings from the 85 W to the 130 S. According to Atomic, the Power Ankle Lock in the Mimic liner holds the heel in place.
Back protectors with AMID Lite to EN 1621-2, Level 1. According to Atomic, the slim fit lets the vests go under a race suit, and all of them are washable.
The Hawx for wide feet, with high volume and, according to Atomic, still powerful. The 3D toe box in the Mimic liner gives the big toe a little more room.
Freeride touring boots with a walk mode. According to Atomic, the cuff on the Ultra XTD 130 BOA pivots through 54°, and tech inserts at the front and back fit hybrid and pin bindings.
