The Thule Stir Alpine 40L is the ideal companion for adventure seekers who specialize in mountaineering, high-altitude hiking, rock climbing, or skiing. With a generous capacity of 40 liters, this unisex backpack offers plenty of space for all your gear. The backpack is made of durable, water-repellent nylon, making it ready for any challenge. Thanks to its top-loading design and the removable lid, frame, hip belt padding, and chest strap, the pack’s weight can be reduced by up to 500 grams—a particular advantage on light and fast-paced hikes.
For skiers, the Stir Alpine 40L offers a secure way to attach skis, either in an “A-frame” or diagonal configuration. A storm flap provides additional weather protection when the lid is removed. The backpack features a special holder for two ice axes and a compression strap under the lid for securely securing climbing ropes or jackets. The side zipper allows for quick access to gear stored further down in the backpack.
