It combines an ultra-light but stabilizing footplate, a midsole with Rocker bending and a grippy SurfaceCTRL™ outsole. Our Exploris is the translation for a long-distance hiking boot. But while this version features the same great details as the original, we've made a few changes. The platform underfoot is wider and offers more stability. The camber is 2 mm higher for more comfort and support. And the rockered midsole offers a forked heel and forefoot as well as a TPUplate for more lateral stability. The FUTURELIGHT™ membrane is still as breathable as ever and the nubuck leather is durable but soft. And what's even better: We source The North Faces leather from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries, helping to create a sustainable future with responsible leather.
