The Agate Speed S GTX's innovative design incorporates a TPUfoil laminated to the nylonupper for added durability in critical areas such as the heel and toe cap. The shoe is equipped with an anatomically molded Ortholite® footbed that provides superior comfort and long-lasting performance. The EVA Exoshell Cage protects the foot and midsole from rocks and debris, while the special Impulso technology with a Pebax® foam plate provides responsive cushioning and stability.
For added comfort and ease of use, the shoe has a backloop that makes it easier to put onand take off and offers the option of attaching the shoe to a backpack or climbing harness. TOE BUMPER AND UPPER TPU FILM: The upper of the shoe is protected by a layer of TPU film laminated to the polyamide mesh to provide extra durability in critical areas such as the heel, toe cap and medial and lateral zones.

SPECIFIC FAST HIKING SPORTY FIT
The Agate Speed was developed around an activity-specific anatomical last to meet the ergonomic and biometric requirements of fast hikers. In addition, the Agate Speed is carefully tailored to the more triangular shape, low volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. The shoe has a moderately snug and agile fit to meet the demands of sportier, more demanding speed hiking.
STABLE FOOT SUPPORT
The Impulso technology's Pebax® foam plate sits in a balanced EVA midsole geometry, providing a lightweight, durable base that supports the foot during intense fast-paced hiking and maintains the lateral stability of the shoe during fast downhill movements or on uneven terrain. Furthermore, the V-shaped ESS plate at the midfoot provides greater torsional stability and helps to prevent ankle injuries.
RESPONSIVE CUSHIONING
The midsole area features Tecnica's exclusive Impulso technology, which combines the benefits of a high-rebound EVA midsole and a full-length Pebax® foam plate in the midfoot and forefoot. The result is a dynamic and propulsive gait with balanced cushioning, agile performance with a smooth and fast transition and a reactive toe-off on the hard climb to the summit.
