This unisex shoe is designed for activities such as hiking, trekking, and speed hiking. It features a waterproof GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane that keeps your feet dry and comfortable in any weather. The upper is reinforced with a TPU film laminated to the polyamide mesh to provide extra durability in critical areas such as the heel and toe cap.
Thanks to its Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole, the Agate Speed S GTX offers excellent traction on both dry and wet surfaces. The special Fast Hiking fit takes into account the ergonomic needs of speed hikers and is specifically tailored to the shape of women’s feet. Stable foot support is ensured by Impulso technology, which combines a balanced EVA midsole geometry with a Pebax® foam plate, providing stability and protection on uneven terrain.
Another highlight is the Ortholite® footbed, which delivers outstanding comfort and long-lasting performance. The EVA Exoshell construction protects the foot and midsole from rocks and debris, while the responsive cushioning ensures a dynamic, forward-propelling stride. The Agate Speed S GTX is not only functional but also features a practical back loop that makes it easier to put on and take off and allows you to attach it to your backpack.

TOE BUMPER AND UPPER TPU FILM: The upper of the shoe is protected by a layer of TPU film laminated to the polyamide mesh to provide extra durability in critical areas such as the heel, toe cap and medial and lateral zones.

SPECIFIC FAST HIKING SPORTY FIT
The Agate Speed was developed around an activity-specific anatomical last to meet the ergonomic and biometric requirements of fast hikers. In addition, the Agate Speed is carefully adapted to the more triangular shape, low volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. The shoe has a moderately snug and agile fit to meet the requirements of sportier, more demanding speed hiking.
STABLE FOOT SUPPORT
The Pebax® foam plate of the Impulso technology sits in a balanced EVA midsole geometry, providing a lightweight, durable base that supports the foot during intense fast hiking and maintains the lateral stability of the shoe during fast downhill movements or on uneven terrain. Furthermore, the V-shaped ESS plate at the midfoot provides greater torsional stability and helps to prevent ankle injuries.
RESPONSIVE CUSHIONING
The midsole area features Tecnica's exclusive Impulso technology, which combines the benefits of a high-rebound EVA midsole and a full-length Pebax® foam plate in the midfoot and forefoot. The result is a dynamic and propulsive gait with balanced cushioning, agile performance with a smooth and fast transition and a reactive toe-off on the hard climb to the summit.
