The Pebax® foam plate of the Impulso technology sits in a balanced EVA midsole geometry, providing a lightweight, durable base that supports the foot during intense fast hiking and maintains the lateral stability of the shoe during fast downhill movements or on uneven terrain. The Agate has been designed around a gender-specific anatomical last to carefully accommodate the more triangular shape, lower volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. The midsole has been optimized to support the higher arch typical of women's feet. The comfortable anatomical design was approved by focus groups of the W2W initiative and scientifically confirmed by CeRiSM.
