The facts at a glance
Smith Nexus Mips
High-quality ski and snowboard helmet with MIPS® technology for optimal protection and comfort on every run.
The Smith Nexus MIPS helmet is the ideal choice for skiers and snowboarders who value top-notch protection and comfort. The hybrid shell construction combines a durable outer shell with a lightweight inner shell that has been integrated using a molding process. This ensures strength in key areas while keeping the helmet’s weight low. With the full KOROYD® system, the helmet offers lightweight, energy-absorbing, and ventilated impact protection.
The Mips® Brain Protection System is another crucial safety feature that reduces rotational forces during oblique impacts. This protection is complemented by the exoskeleton, which improves impact resistance in the side-impact zones. The helmet is certified to the ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B standards, which underscores its high safety quality.
The BOA® 360 Fit System, which allows for precise adjustment, and removable ear pads provide additional comfort. The Fidlock® strap buckle makes it easy to use, even while wearing gloves. The antimicrobial Ionic+® lining provides sweat-activated odor control, further enhancing comfort. The helmet is also compatible with the Aleck® audio system, making it a versatile companion on the slopes.

What is it for?
Our take
The Nexus Mips lets you adjust the 24 front and rear ventilation openings separately. BOA 360 adjusts the fit around your head; the hybrid shell combines full Koroyd with Mips.
