The facts at a glance
Smith Accel
The Accel helmet from Smith is the ideal choice for skiers and working professionals who value safety and comfort. Thanks to its lightweight in-mold construction, which combines the outer shell with EPS foam into a compact design, the helmet offers both lightness and durability. Zonal KOROYD® technology provides effective, energy-absorbing impact protection, while the MIPS® Brain Protection System reduces rotational forces during oblique impacts.
The helmet was designed to integrate seamlessly with Smith products to ensure maximum comfort and optimal ventilation. The 360-degree micro-adjustable twist-lock system allows you to effortlessly adjust the fit on the go. In addition, the antimicrobial Ionic+® lining offers an odor-neutralizing effect that is activated by sweat. The climate control system with a dial allows for easy, one-handed adjustment of the ventilation vents, so you can control the airflow at any time.
The Accel helmet is compatible with the Aleck® audio system, which allows for a personalized listening experience. Weighing just 500 g in size M, it’s light enough to be worn all day without feeling heavy. Certified to ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B, it meets all necessary safety standards for a safe adventure on the slopes.
