• Air Frame Construction

  The Air Frame Construction is used in the Comfort Deluxe self-inflating mat. The transverse cores (lengthwise and crosswise) provide a degree of stability that was previously unknown in self-inflating mats. This construction radically reduces the usual bounce of PU foam mats - in the double version, one sleeper can turn over without disturbing the other.

• Solution Dyed

  In solution dyeing, the dye is added to the liquid polymer before the fiber is extruded. The advantage of this technology is that it significantly reduces energy and water consumption as well as C0₂ emissions. With solution dyeing, the color runs throughout the yarn and not just on the surface as with conventional dyeing. This is easy to imagine if you think of the cross-section of a carrot (dyed throughout) compared to a radish (only dyed on the outside). Solution-dyed colors may not be quite as intense, but they don't fade like conventionally dyed materials.

• ASTM F3340 R-Value Testing

  To make sure you are warm when you sleep (especially if the floor is colder), it is important to know how well your sleeping mat resists heat loss into the floor. This resistance is known as the R-value. A lab-tested R-value is the only way to measure resistance to heat loss

• Bluesign APPROVED

  Bluesign is a system operated by an independent, Swiss-based third party that monitors every step in a supply chain to ensure the use of the most environmentally friendly materials. The label indicates that the production of the product causes the lowest emissions and pollution and meets high standards for humane working conditions and material safety standards for consumers.

• XPEL Valve

  Das Sea to Summit XPEL-Ventil war das erste Ventil, das speziell für selbstaufblasende Schlafmatten entwickelt wurde.
