This robust mountain boot was specially developed for men who focus on hiking, trekking, via ferrata and alpine tours. With its high shaft and protective scree protection edge, it offers optimum protection and comfort on stony paths and challenging approaches. The upper material made from high-quality Perwanger leather combined with the waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane ensures that your feet stay dry and comfortable even in adverse weather conditions.
The innovative BAS technology (Bascula Adaptive System) guarantees first-class stability and rolling comfort, while the semi crampon-compatible construction makes it possible to use the boot on easier ice climbs. The Vibram sole is specially designed for use in the mountains and offers excellent grip on a wide variety of surfaces. Thanks to the perfect balance between weight and protection, the Zodiac Tech GTX is the shoe of choice for alpinists who don't want to compromise on their equipment.
In addition, the combination of PU and TPU in the midsole provides excellent cushioning and support, which is particularly beneficial on longer tours with a fully loaded rucksack.
