Scarpa Instinct S

Materials:

External material: Multi-panel upper, made of two-layer Lorenzi microfiber. Leather panels in the toe and sole area. REB maintains elasticity throughout the life of the shoe.

Inside/Midsole:

The 1mm Flexan insert distributes the force in the forefoot and allows excellent flexibility in the rear of the shoe.

Outsole:

3.5mm 3/4 XS Grip 2 sole. M50 rubber heel construction for high friction & hooking performance.

Technologies and manufacturing processes

REB
We have combined the upper elastic band of the classic slip-on design with the innovative elastic cord system, thereby creating a new climbing technology that ensures a reliable and durable fit. Narrow shaped PU cords are connected to the elastic band to strengthen it and ensure that the shoes fit tightly on the feet.
M50 Rubber
Our softest rubber compound that offers the best conformability to the natural shape of the foot and toe. The conformable material achieves a Shore A hardness value of 50 and is perfect for use in our SRT system, toe caps and strategic positions on the shoe upper.
RESOLEABLE
This shoe can be resoled at an official SCARPA dealer. Repair your shoe before it is too damaged. Find your dealer in the dealer locator.
CTS TENSION
The CTS is a combination of an elastic instep rubber and a soft rubber with high friction. The soft M50 rubber distributes the force evenly in the toe area and reduces pressure on the small toes. The harder instep rubber supports the big toe area and the inner edge zone and is directly connected to the heel. The result is outstanding strength and precision on small treads.
XS-GRIP2
The VIBRAM® XS GRIP2 is used where pure grip is needed! In competition or in overhanging routes, shoes with this sole are indispensable.
