The facts at a glance
Scarpa Furia Air
The lightest climbing shoe model on the market encloses the foot like a sock. The perforated microfiber upper, with Alcantara insert in the toe area, consists of 8 cut parts that are sewn together so that the shape fits perfectly to the foot without causing pressure points. The midfoot receives light support from the DTS Tension system, but at the same time allows the foot to move flexibly. The midsole, a Flexan insert in the area of the big toe, supports the toes when standing small kicks and the asymmetrical shape of the shoe, as well as the downturn and the high toe box provide perfect power transmission and a precise, sensitive tip. The very thin 3mm Vibram® XS Grip2 rubber layer on the heel and the SRT rubber in the toe area provide good and sensitive hooking properties. The grippy Vibram® XS Grip2 sole rubber is flexible and provides a perfect friction stand on Volumen. For all boulderers and boulderers, climbers and climbers who are looking for a flexible climbing shoe that stands excellently on friction steps and allows a more sensitive standing than any other climbing shoe.

Technologies and manufacturing processes
Active Randing
TA -Tension offers the benefits of a dynamic tensioning system without adding extra material under the key toe positions. The TA (Toe-Abductor) Tension System works with the muscles of the foot to improve toe strength while minimizing disruption to the flexor muscles of the foot.SRT
The soft M50 rubber layer is one of the core technologies of the SCARPA climbing shoe softline. The rubber encloses the forefoot area and ensures perfect power transmission to the toes, for maximum grip on friction steps and incomparably sensitive toehooking capabilities.PAF
The PAF (Pressure-Absorbing-Fit) system is an innovative system that distributes heel tension while improving fit at the heel. The strong tension band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon. There, it is connected to a softer rubber that acts like a "bridge" and allows for a full fit to the individual heel shape. The holes at the top of the PAF act as indicators to tell you how much tension/support you have. 1-hole for light tension, 2-hole for medium tension, 3-hole for heavy tension.DTS Tension
The DTS tensioning system adapts perfectly to the dynamics of the foot in motion. It concentrates the force on the big toe without affecting the fit in other areas of the shoe and ensures optimal positioning of the foot and perfect power transmission.M50 Rubber
Our softest rubber compound that offers the best conformability to the natural shape of the foot and toe. The conformable material achieves a Shore A hardness value of 50 and is perfect for use in our SRT system, toe caps and strategic positions on the shoe upper.RESOLEABLE
This shoe can be resoled at an official SCARPA dealer. Repair your shoe before it is too damaged. Find your dealer in the dealer locator.XS-GRIP2
The VIBRAM® XS GRIP2 is used where pure grip is needed! In competition or in overhanging routes, shoes with this sole are indispensable.
