The Ortles 3-Layer Pants are made from our patented 3-layer Powertex weatherproof fabric and offer a balanced combination of performance, weight, and durability. They are extremely waterproof, with a water column rating of 20,000 mm. During high-intensity activity, the breathable membrane (20,000 g/m²/24h) wicks away moisture, ensuring a comfortable fit. The athletic fit includes a gusset in the crotch for full range of motion and ergonomically pre-shaped knee panels. The snug lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a secure fit over mountaineering boots (or ski boots) and keep the cuffs securely in place, minimizing the risk of getting your crampons caught in the pants.
