Thanks to its lightweight, technical construction, this mountaineering boot covers a wide range of uses—from rocky terrain to challenging activities on snow and ice. The Pomoca Alpine Light outsole, with its robust tread pattern, provides ideal grip and traction on both rocky and wet, slippery surfaces. The cushioning EVA midsole ensures high comfort—especially on long days in the mountains. The ankle protection wraps around the foot, providing stability and protection from rocks and scree. Salewa’s new Edging Plate 2 technology combines a TPU inner shell—which offers the perfect balance of flexibility and stiffness for climbing—with a crampon-compatible heel stabilizer that provides enhanced stability on rocky terrain. Our proprietary 3F system increases stability in the heel area, while the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) allows for a custom fit for even greater comfort. The durable nylon upper is reinforced with high-strength, abrasion-resistant TPU seams and a TPU overlay, and features a protective rubber rand. The overall weight and material thickness have been kept as low as possible. The elastic gaiter keeps out dirt and small pebbles. This waterproof mountaineering boot features a PFC-free Powertex membrane and stands out for its low environmental footprint—it is the first boot in the Salewa Committed collection.
