The strategically placed TirolWool® Responsive insulation areas guarantee outstanding thermoregulation and keep you warm even when wet.
The TirolWool® Responsive material used combines the advantages of Tyrolean mountain sheep's wool with thermoreactive yarns that efficiently recycle body heat and slowly release it again in the form of far infrared energy (FIR). This ensures sustainable and long-lasting warmth, which is particularly beneficial in changing temperatures. A fitted, insulated hood offers additional protection in stormy weather, while the jacket can be stowed compactly in its own pocket when temperatures rise
As part of the Salewa Committed collection, the jacket is equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that makes it water-repellent. The Durastretch material also contains fine merino wool, which ensures a pleasant feel against the skin. How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
