The MTN Trainer 2 Mid PTX children's shoe was developed in the Dolomites - and made precisely for this rocky terrain: The lightweight trekking shoe for children combines durable suede leather in the upper material with a 360°polyurethane rand to offer maximum protection against abrasion and scree in rough terrain. Meanwhile, the water-repellent, breathable and durable Powertex® membrane protects against moisture and other adverse weather conditions. Our patented SALEWA® 3F system, which connects the instep area to the sole and heel, guarantees additional stability and protection, while the Flex Collar increases the angle of movement and thus ensures more flexibility in the heel area. The lightweight, compact Pomoca™ Junior Hike outsole with its special lug profile ensures ideal grip on rocks and optimum grip on slippery terrain. The lightweight EVA midsole in turn has a shock-absorbing effect - providing all-day comfort even on long hikes. As part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, the children's trekking shoe is equipped with a PFC-free membrane and is therefore characterized by a low ecological footprint.
