Salewa Litetrek Pro II Tent

The Litetrek Pro II is a robust and reliable 2-person-double wall tent from Salewa, ideal for alpine trekking where weather protection, stability, weight and pack size are crucial. This tent is designed for 3-season-use in milder temperatures and can withstand wind speeds of up to 90 km/h, as proven by wind tunnel-measurements by the Technical University of Munich. The semi-geodesic double-wall construction offers an optimal balance between weather protection and ventilation without restricting the interior. The fully self-supporting design makes it easy to erect even in rocky terrain without the need for guy wires, and the anchor points can be extended for added flexibility.
The outer tarpaulin is made from tear-resistant 20D ripstop nylon with a silicone and PU coating and offers a water column of 3,000 mm, while the floor is made from robust 40D ripstop nylon with a water column of 10,000 mm. The inner tent made of 66D ripstop polyester has a meshentrance with integrated mosquito net. For better ventilation, the rear panel can be opened from the inside and outside with a zipper, which regulates the supply of fresh air and prevents moisture from accumulating inside. Thanks to the 3S Speed Set Up solution with short, flat pole channels and hooks, pitching is quick and easy. In good weather, the flysheet can also be pitched on its own.
An outstanding feature of the Litetrek Pro II is its versatility. The weatherproof and protected vestibule, which is integrated into the inner tent, can be used as storage space for luggage or as a cooking area and can be extended. Additional features such as a zipper with anti-trap protection, nylon hooks for tensioning even in very cold conditions and Hypalon-reinforced pole channel ends make this tent an indispensable companion for demanding trekking tours.
