Salewa Aqua Powertex K Jacket

The Puez Aqua is a 2.5-layer hard shell jacket for children with a waterproof Powertex® membrane made from 57% recycled materials. The material is reliably waterproof and has a water column of 10,000 millimetres. The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 10,000 g/m²/24h: 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours - so the jacket promises a pleasant body climate even during strenuous activities. The design and features of the hardshell jacket are designed for full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: if it gets uncomfortable, the storm hood and elasticated cuffs protect you from the cold, wet and wind. At the same time, the Puez Aqua is equipped with fully taped seams and waterproof zippers to keep you dry even in heavy rain. Small items such as nuts, bars or gloves can easily be stored in the two large zippered side pockets, while the reflective detail on the hood also ensures better visibility in bad weather. To meet the high social and ecological standards of the SALEWA® Committed collection, the Puez Aqua is made from recycled materials and has a PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR coating.
