The Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex®, which has proven itself in the Monti Pallidi—the Italian Dolomites—is a low-cut alpine hiking and trekking shoe designed to provide enhanced comfort on long hiking days in rugged alpine terrain. Solid Protection The sturdy upper made of high-quality suede leather is equipped with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane and a 360° rubber rand for added protection against rocks and scree, offering solid protection. Complete Comfort Thanks to Salewa’s proprietary, trademarked 3F system, the shoe adapts to your foot and provides a protective fit. The steel cable provides firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the special Climbing Lacing system allows for adjustment all the way down to the toes to enhance performance on the rock. The EVA midsole offers outstanding cushioning and excellent comfort for a technical shoe. Improved Grip and Traction The SALEWA®-exclusive Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole ensures improved performance and handling on a wide variety of mountain terrain. Thanks to its specialized climbing, traction, and braking zones, as well as its grippy and durable lug pattern, it performs exceptionally well even in wet and muddy conditions.
