Rab Khroma Kinetic Pants

The Khroma Kinetic pants from Rab have been specially developed for ski touring and ski mountaineering, where freedom of movement, light weight and breathability are top priorities. These innovative ski pants combine the protection of a hardshell with the comfort of a softshell thanks to the Proflex™ fabric developed by Rab. With a water column of 20,000 mm and breathability of 25,000 g/m²/24 hrs., they offer optimum protection from the elements while ensuring efficient moisture transport away from the body.
The Khroma Kinetic pants are ideal for intensive ascents with touring skis, as they quickly wick away moisture and allow heat to be released quickly thanks to large 1-way YKK® ventilation zippers on the thighs. On the descent, you benefit from the excellent stretch and freedom of movement, which is particularly effective on steep terrain and hairpin bends. The pre-shaped knee section also contributes to freedom of movement.
For an optimum fit, the trousers have a two-way adjustable Velcro fastener at the waist, belt loops and attachment points for braces. The pockets specially designed for skiing - three outer pockets, two thigh pockets and one back pocket - are strategically positioned so as not to get in the way on the ascent and descent. The adjustable hem with internal snow gaiter and reinforced crampon patches ensures a seamless transition to ski boots and additional protection from snow and ice.
The Khroma Kinetic trousers are made from 90% polyamide and 10% elastane, with a polyurethane membrane and a 100% polyester lining. The 20D Proflex™ Stretch Woven Nylon 3-layer Waterproof Technology with fluorocarbon-free DWR-coating (149g/m²) guarantees outstanding weather resistance and breathability, so you are perfectly equipped for all challenges on the mountain.
