The facts at a glance
Rab Ascendor Alpine Pants
The Ascendor Alpine Pants from Rab are specifically designed for demanding mountaineering tours and hikes. Thanks to their windproof fabric and reinforced leg cuffs, these pants offer optimal protection from the elements. The high-rise waistband ensures an excellent fit and high comfort, even under a backpack harness. Thanks to the adjustable waistband with a Velcro closure and the removable suspenders, the fit can be customized to your needs.
For added ventilation, the Ascendor Alpine Pants feature two concealed zippers on the thighs. The pre-shaped knees and the long gusset in the crotch provide maximum freedom of movement, which is especially beneficial on climbing trips. Practical details such as two slip pockets with mesh linings and a back pocket—all featuring YKK® zippers—provide ample space for essential gear.
Another highlight is the integrated elastic snow gaiters at the hem, which protect against snow and dirt. The zipper at the ankle allows you to adjust the hem to fit different types of footwear, making these pants exceptionally versatile. The Ascendor Alpine Pants are the perfect choice for anyone who values quality and functionality, whether in the Alps or the Scottish Highlands.

How to measure
- 1. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 2. Inseam length:Measured on the inside of the leg from the crotch to below the ankle.
