The facts at a glance
POC Calyx Carbon
The Calyx Carbon helmet from POC is a versatile protective helmet that is ideal for activities such as mountaineering, skiing, and cycling. With its extremely durable and lightweight carbon fiber shell, it offers optimal protection and comfort. The helmet is equipped with an innovative 360° adjustment system that can be customized for a perfect fit and stowed inside the helmet to save space when not in use.
A double-reinforced lining made of EPS and EPP provides additional safety by offering targeted protection in the areas most prone to impact. The integrated ventilation channels with fabric covers regulate airflow to prevent the head from getting too cold, while deeper channels inside the helmet improve air circulation. The helmet is also equipped with a RECCO® reflector, which makes it easier to locate the wearer in an emergency.
Practical features such as removable ear pads, a removable glasses clip, and a fleece-lined neck warmer enhance comfort. The integrated visor offers an exceptional field of view, while the Fidlock® buckle makes it easy to fasten the helmet even when wearing gloves. Additionally, a Clarity Comp Low Light lens is included, ensuring optimal visibility while skiing.
