This provides immediate warmth as soon as you step inside. The down unfolds immediately and creates an insulating layer of air that allows you to sleep comfortably at u20132 u00b0C, safely at u201310 u00b0C and protected in extreme situations up to u201325 u00b0C. The down is arranged in Z-fu00f6rm chambers. In this model, we have used a double-layer construction with a loft-Hu00f6height of 8 cm, which distributes the filling evenly and minimizes the risk of cold spots. Additional protection is provided by the IRL u2013 Infrared Reflective Layer, which reflects heat back to the bodyu2013. It helps the sleeping bag to warm up faster and retain heat for longer. During long nights, dryness is just as important as warmth. That's why we use Pajak's HMS u2013 Humidity Management Systemu2013. It protects the down from moisture and helps to release it to the outside. We have added special inserts made of water-repellent material in the hood, where moisture tends to collect, and in the foot area, which often touches the tent walls. Thanks to them, the sleeping bag retains its insulating properties for longer. We have also paid attention to comfort. The hood has an anatomical shape with an adjustable face opening that can be put on with one hand, even when wearing gloves or lying down. The 3Dshoulder collar hugs the shoulders and prevents heat from escaping. The mummy design warms the inside quickly and facilitates recovery and regeneration. On the outside, the Radical 8Z is protected by the GELANOTS Ultra Light Rip Stop Shell u2013 an ultra-light, technical fabric that is wind, snow and abrasion resistant. It does not absorb water, does not rub against the rock and allows the down to perform optimally. In areas exposed to moisture u2013 around the head and foot u2013 we have also used additional waterproof insertsu2013. The sleeping bag has a 2-way YKK-Reiu00u00dfastener with an asymmetrical design that reduces pressure on the shoulder and allows temperature regulation from both ends. It is easy to operate even when wearing gloves, and the insulated cover prevents heat loss. After a night out, you can hang it up to dry on the internal or external loops. Inside there is a practical pocket for essentials such as chemical hand warmers, a headlamp or a cell phone. The Radical 8Z weighs 1030 grams and packs down to just 6 liters.
