Pajak Radical 12Z - Down sleeping bag

Radical 12Z is the sleeping bag you take with you when you know the night awaits behind an ice wall, in a snow cave or on the approach to K2. It's filled with 880 grams of high-quality white Polish goose down from Kołuda (900 CUIN), enclosed in Z-shaped chambers that prevent thermal bridges. Combined with a carefully engineered thermal structure, it maximizes the insulation potential of down - and keeps the cold out. We have used a mummy cut that tapers downwards to reduce the amount of air that needs to be warmed and speed up warming inside. At the same time, there is enough space to sleep in a down jacket or with additional layers. The sleeping bag encloses the body evenly and protects the most sensitive areas - neck, shoulders, chest and head. For extra insulation, we have added a down-filled thermal collar that fits snugly around the neck and shoulders and keeps out cold draughts. The hood can be adjusted easily and precisely even when wearing gloves thanks to an intuitive drawstring system. Inside there is a thin IRL (Infrared Reflective Layer) that reflects body heat back into the center of the sleeping bag. The outer material is made from GELANOTS® Ultra Light Ripstop Shell - snow and moisture resistant as well as abrasion resistant yet breathable. Thanks to the HMS (Humidity Management System) and waterproof inserts in the head- and foot area, the sleeping bag manages moisture more effectively and helps the down to loosen up longer and retain its insulating properties. The YKK zipper runs smoothly even when wearing thick gloves, while the heat pipes sewn along its length keep the warmth inside. There are drying loops on the outside and two storage bags are included - a compression sack for transportation and a generous mesh bag for storage between expeditions. We tested it in the Himalayas. We proved it on the descent from K2. It's ready for anything that lies ahead.
