The Extreme XC 2 from Northwave are the perfect companion for demanding cyclingand mountain bikingadventures. These men's shoes are specially designed for the warmer seasons of spring and summer and offer exceptional power transmission thanks to the Hyperlight-XC sole made of 100% unidirectional carbon. With an impressive stiffness index of 14.0, they ensure maximum efficiency with every pedal stroke.
The Michelin rubber inserts with Dual Layer Compound technology are not only 28% more abrasion resistant than conventional TPU, but also offer excellent grip with minimal weight. The double SLW3 twist closure allows the pressure between the top of the instep and the toe to be individually adjusted for an even better fit.
Another highlight is the upper shoe with ARS technology (Anatomic Reticular Support), which acts as an exoskeleton and surrounds the foot to distribute the load evenly when pedaling. Ultrathin reinforcements provide all-round protection, while mesh inserts effectively conduct excess heat to the outside to ensure a pleasant climate inside the shoe even on hot days.
