MET Terræ

The MET Terræ is the ideal helmet for mountain bikers who prioritize safety and comfort. Thanks to its in-mold polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner and the MIPS C2® rotational force management system, this helmet offers additional protection against certain types of impacts. Particularly noteworthy is the extended coverage at the back of the head and temples, which provides additional safety. The NTA 8776 certification confirms the helmet’s ability to absorb higher impact energies.
With 19 strategically placed ventilation ports and an internally developed airflow system optimized in our own wind tunnel, the MET Terræ offers excellent ventilation and enhances comfort. The adjustable and flexible visor with a safety release system not only protects against sun and rain but also minimizes the risk of neck injuries in the event of a fall.
The Safe-T Heta adjustment system ensures a secure and custom fit for the helmet, while the integrated sunglass holders provide additional comfort. The MET Terræ was tested at the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab and received the highest safety rating of 5 stars, underscoring its outstanding protective performance.

The Virginia Tech Helmet Lab tested the MET Terræ, and it received the highest rating of 5 STARS! The Virginia Tech Helmet Lab provides an objective assessment of helmet safety. It assigns a rating based on both linear and rotational impact energies, exceeding the current state of the art in helmet safety standards.

Mips® Brain Protection System:

Featuring the MIPS® Brain Protection System, the MET Terræ is designed to slide relative to the head in the event of a crash, helping to redirect harmful rotational forces. Positioned between the comfort padding and the EPS liner inside the helmet, MIPS is a rotational management system engineered to enhance standard helmet construction by providing added protection against specific types of impacts.

SUPERVISOR:

The visor is adjustable; it features a safety-release system that allows it to detach in the event of a crash, and it is also flexible, preventing the helmet from shifting on the head during impacts.

COMFORT:

Extremely comfortable and secure on the head, the new Terræ is designed to remain stable while riding on rough terrain. Featuring the Safe-T Heta 360° retention system, the fit is micrometrically adjustable and customized to the circumference of the head, preventing any pressure points or discomfort during long rides.
