Equipped with Mipsu00u00ae safety system:

The Mipsu00eae safety system was developed to provide additional protection for helmets in numerous accidents. It consists of a low-friction shell that is attached to the inside of the helmet. The low-friction shell is designed to slide slightly inside the helmet in the event of an accident so that forces can be diverted away from the head. This should help to reduce the risk of brain injuries.

INTEGRATED VISOR:

The visor is integrated directly into the helmet shell and provides reliable protection from the sun and low-hanging wind. Its design remains deliberately compact so that it does not interfere with riding and blends harmoniously into the helmet line.

EXTENDED PROTECTION AREA:

The Shelter Youth Mips uses the same safety technology as our top models. The helmet shell is drawn extra low at the back of the head u2013 exactly where protection is most important in the event of a fall. This keeps the head better covered all round without making the helmet look heavier.

VENTILATION:

Twou00u00d6five u00d6openings and precisely milled inner channels ensure even air circulation. Fresh air can flow in unhindered, warm air escapes immediately u2013 ideal for warm weather or intensive climbs. Practical too: Two small u00d6openings serve as a stable storage space for sunglasses when you need to take a short break.

FIT-SYSTEM:

The MET Safe-T Sport System is used in the Shelter Youth Mips so that the helmet is barely noticeable when riding. The circumferential 360u00b0 headband fits snugly, is easy to adjust and ensures that everything fits securely and comfortably without pressure points or pinching.
