The facts at a glance
La Sportiva TX Setter
La Sportiva's TX Setter is the first shoe designed specifically for route setters, combining climbing precision with the comfort of an approach shoe. These highly specialized shoes are perfect for indoor professionals who demand the very best in both climbing and work in the gym. Whether you’re tackling a challenging route or working long shifts at the gym, the TX Setter offers reliable, breathable comfort and high-performance grip.
Thanks to an asymmetrical, climbing-inspired lacing system, the shoes adapt perfectly to the foot and protect the laces during toe hooks. A high-friction rubber patch on the toe cap provides additional grip, while the rubber bridge at the heel improves control on large holds. The outsole, made from La Sportiva’s exclusive Vibram® MegaGrip™ Elite composite, offers first-class traction and durability on all textured surfaces.
The TX Setters are fully adjustable, making them a durable companion for any professional climber. They’re ideal for activities such as climbing, work, approach hikes, via ferrata, and indoor climbing. These shoes help you set routes and redefine what’s possible.
