The facts at a glance
La Sportiva Supercouloir Down Parka Men
Discover the ultimate jacket for extreme alpine conditions: the Supercouloir Down Parka from La Sportiva. Designed for climbing, mountaineering, and demanding high-altitude tours, this jacket sets new standards for packable warmth. The innovative 3D down-chamber construction, featuring an impressive 1,000 cu.in. of down fill, provides exceptional insulation and prevents cold spots. Weighing in at 50% down, it offers groundbreaking warmth that performs even in freezing temperatures.
Thanks to the high-quality Pertex® Quantum fabric with Diamond Fuse technology, the parka is extremely abrasion-resistant and can withstand the challenges of rocks and ice. The jacket can be compressed into a helmet-sized pocket, making it the ideal companion for fast, lightweight ascents. The helmet-compatible hood, featuring a mesh visor and silicone grips that ensure maximum freedom of movement, provides additional comfort and protection.
Elastic cuffs and a drawstring hem provide a secure fit that effectively prevents heat loss. A practical pack-away pocket design allows you to store the jacket in a space-saving manner. A repair kit included with the jacket ensures that it remains ready for use even after intense climbing trips. The Supercouloir Down Parka is not only a favorite among climbers worldwide, but also an indispensable piece of clothing for anyone venturing into cold, challenging environments.

How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 5. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 6. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
