The Otaki by La Sportiva is a climbing shoe that offers maximum precision and support, ideal for sport climbing, multi-pitch and tradclimbing. Inspired by the Japanese samuraiaesthetic, the Otaki stands for sharpness and precision, even on the smallest footholds. Thanks to a new construction method, this shoe combines the close-fitting comfort of a slipper with the precision and volume adjustment of a Velcro fastener. This enables maximum sensitivity and precision, as the shoe perfectly follows the climber's movements and eliminates empty spaces and rigid areas.
The Otaki is specially designed for men and is suitable for both climbing and bouldering. The lined and warming properties of the shoe provide additional comfort on longer climbing tours. The innovative S-Heel™ technology ensures perfect torsional stability and improves performance and adaptability on heel hooks, which is particularly beneficial when bouldering. With the Otaki, climbers are ideally equipped to face the challenges of modern climbing routes
