The outer layer protects against wind and rain, while the inner layer provides thermal insulation. The jacket has a water column rating of 20,000 mm, a breathability rating of 20,000 g/m²/24h, a DWR finish free of intentionally added PFAS, fully taped seams, a hood with an adjustable drawcord, an inside pocket, YKK® zippers, adjustable Velcro closures at the cuffs, a two-way zipper, and two zippered front pockets.
