What makes it special? The design team at Houdini felt that they were missing a product for those activities when a regular baseball cap would be too heavy or clunky. They found the perfect performance fabric and the C9t Cap was born. The C9 cap will keep your head dry, cool and shaded but you won’t even know you are wearing it. How does it work? C9 Cap is made from C9 Ripstop, an ultra light, cool and highly breathable fabric. It’s made from 100% recycled and recyclable polyester, eliminating the concept of waste. It’s treated with a biobased durable water repellent free from any PFAS or other toxic chemicals. Despite the light fabric, this cap is both wind- and water resistant. It dries very quickly and will shade your head from direct sunlight. When should I use it? Are you looking for a versatile cap to keep your head away from the sun during water sports or other high intensity activities? Liquid Light Cap is the answer, and the durable design will keep you comfortable for many years to come. It is perfect for running, hiking, kayaking or beach volleyball. Strap it tight and you could even wear it when you go surfing. C9 Cap is made from recycled fibers and recyclable fibers and we kindly ask you to return it to us when it’s completely worn out. Care instructions

Air clothes instead of washing to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer.
Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
Machine wash, max 30 °C/86 °F.
Use mild environmentally certified detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
Tumble dry on low heat.
Iron on low heat.

Ultra-lightweight yet durable fabric with fantastic breathability and next-to-skin comfort. A proven classic Houdini fabric that we use in many different garments.
Synthetic materials
When washing clothes made of synthetic fabrics, the use of a washing bag becomes even more important: It prevents microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.
Circular
This product is completely circularly produced. Means: It is made from either recycled and recyclable fibers. Most products in today's society have a linear life cycle where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then thrown away. This doesn't work in the long run and has a big impact on the environment. Instead, we want to close the production cycle and reuse materials we already have. But we need your help. If one day your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all Houdini stores and at many of our retailers.
Recycled
The recycled fabric is derived from used plastic bottles, which helps reduce C02 emissions in the air and keeps plastic out of landfills. The result is a recycled polyester that is breathable, lightweight and durable.
Recyclable
The material of this product is fully recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the raw material can be used for new products. Our goal is to remove no more new raw materials from the earth's crust by 2030. Circular products made from recycled or recyclable materials can truly change the game of manufacturing culture.
