The Polartecu00ae Power Airu2122 Active fabric is designed to trap the airy filament fibers in small pockets in the fabric to prevent microfiber leakage. Compared to traditional fleece, it releases 80% less microfiber and is made from recycled and recyclable materials. The Aero Hat is made from the new, updated version of the fabric, which has been completely redesigned. Compared to the previous version, it is lighter, stretchier, softer, faster drying and warmer. The fabric is also fully recyclable, which means that the raw material used for this garment does not have to become waste. When should I wear it? Wear the Aero Hat during high-intensity activities in cold weather such as ski touring, cross-country skiing, winter running or hiking. Can also be worn well under a helmet. It is a real multi-tool that offers warmth and breathability for all seasons. When making this garment, we have thought about the future and use recyclable materials. Please return it to Houdini when it is worn out so that the raw materials can be reused. In this way, we reduce the need for unused resources, reduce environmental impact and waste streams."

Care instructions

Air your clothes instead of washing them - this saves water and energy and can extend the life of your clothes.
Use a laundry bag to protect your clothes and prevent fibers from escaping. When cleaning, make sure you wipe down the washing machine filter and the laundry bag and put any leftover lint in the garbage can. Do not rinse them with water so that the fibers do not end up in natural waters.
Machine washable, cold.
Use a mild, environmentally certified detergent and follow the recommended dosage.
Avoid fabric softener. It is harmful to the environment and impairs the efficiency of technical clothing.
This material should not be tumble dried.
Tumble dryers put unnecessary strain on both clothing and the environment. Most polyester garments dry quickly anyway.
Simply hang them up to dry.

This product is completely circularly produced. Means: It is made from either recycled and recyclable fibers. Most products in today's society have a linear life cycle where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then thrown away. This doesn't work in the long run and has a big impact on the environment. Instead, we want to close the production cycle and reuse materials we already have. But we need your help. If one day your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all Houdini stores and at many of our retailers.
Recyclable
The material of this product is fully recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the raw material can be used for new products. Our goal is to remove no more new raw materials from the earth's crust by 2030. Circular products made from recycled or recyclable materials can truly change the game of manufacturing culture.
