HAIX’s propellant-free waterproofing spray provides essential protection for leather and textile products. It creates a durable barrier against water, dirt, oil, and grease, significantly extending the life of your shoes. Regular re-treatment is especially recommended for HAIX shoes that have already been pre-waterproofed. Apply the spray generously from a distance of about 30 cm so that the leather can optimally absorb the protective ingredients. Allowing it to sit for 15 minutes is ideal for activating the protective layer. This treatment can be repeated up to three times to ensure maximum protection.
The waterproofing spray is especially important for caring for GORE-TEX shoes, as it makes the upper material even more waterproof and stain-resistant, while the GORE-TEX membrane inside keeps moisture out. After waterproofing, the shoes should be left to rest for 24 hours to allow the care products to take full effect. Regular application every four to eight weeks, or after exposure to heavy moisture, is recommended to maintain full protection.
