Grüezi Bag Biopod Downwool Hybrid Underquilt

The Grüezi bag® Biopod DownWool Hybrid Underquilt offers optimum thermal protection under the hammock. Thanks to its ingenious adjustment system, this innovative underquilt can be adapted to almost all hammock lengths and can be attached effortlessly. It can also be used as a comforter, which underlines its versatility. The Grüezi bag® underquilts stand for the best sleeping comfort and functionality. The special DownWool® material retains its insulating properties even at high humidity levels of up to 90%, which means it offers better thermal performance, even in cold and wet conditions. In addition, DownWool® quilts have a wider temperature range in which to feel comfortable, as the wool compensates for temperature fluctuations, similar to a light natural air conditioning system. To protect against condensation moisture, a layer of Synthdown (100 % polyester) is incorporated at the ends of the underquilt, which makes the insulation ends insensitive to moisture. Thanks to the wool content in the DownWool® insulation filling, the underquilt provides excellent sleep quality, which translates into longer sleep, faster falling asleep and better sleep through the night. The ingenious adjustment system ensures that the Biopod DownWool Hybrid Underquilt adapts easily to almost all hammock lengths and can be attached with ease. In addition, the underquilt is ultra-light and has a small pack size, as robust and recycled fabrics are used to minimize the weight. All Grüezi bag® products are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, which means that they are safe for human health. The special features of the underquilt include fastening loops on both sides: there are three loops on each side that can be connected with the elastic ropes supplied, which are adjustable in length. Hooks are attached to the ends of the ropes so that the underquilt can be attached either directly to the hammock or to the ridgeline. It can be attached along the hammock or diagonally, whichever provides a more comfortable sleeping position. The sophisticated oval chamber construction also prevents the DownWool® filling from slipping. Finally, the underquilt can also be used as a large blanket, which further increases its range of uses.
