The facts at a glance
Grüezi Bag Biopod Downwool-hybrid Ice Cold 190 Wide
The Biopod Downwool Hybrid Ice Cold 190 Wide from Grüezi Bag is the ideal companion for demanding winter activities and alpine tours. This technical winter sleeping bag combines the innovative DownWool Hybrid construction—made from high-quality goose down and natural alpine wool—to provide outstanding warmth even in cold, damp conditions. The sophisticated chamber design—featuring box, H, V, and side chambers—minimizes cold spots and ensures even heat distribution throughout the night.
Particularly noteworthy is the sleeping bag’s comfortable cut, which offers greater freedom of movement and allows even side sleepers to sleep comfortably. An integrated carbon heating element in the foot area provides additional warmth and can be powered by a standard power bank if needed. The anti-slip nubs on the back prevent the sleeping bag from sliding on the sleeping pad, while the adjustable hood with a face baffle and the 3D thermal collar provide effective protection against the cold.
The Biopod Downwool Hybrid Ice Cold 190 Wide is equipped with a two-way Autolock zipper that can be operated from both the inside and outside and prevents accidental opening. Convenient inner and outer pockets provide space for valuables, and the pre-shaped footbox ensures additional comfort. With a comfort temperature of -5 °C and an extreme temperature of -31 °C, this sleeping bag is ideal for winter bivouacs, high-altitude camps, and cold trekking nights.

- Adjustable hood with face baffle: The thermal collar conforms perfectly to the shape of the head. When it's cold, only a small opening for the face remains, which minimizes heat loss from the face.
- 3D Thermal Collar: It automatically seals at the zipper area, preventing a cold bridge from forming there.
- Drawstring Bag: To keep the drawstring from getting in the way on the thermal collar, it is securely tucked away in a simple drawstring pocket.
- Interior & Exterior Pockets: For valuables and items you'd rather keep close at hand.
- Two-way Autolock Reiu00dfverschluss: The zipper can be opened and closed from either end, as well as from the inside and outside. Thanks to the Auto-Lock feature, it cannot open accidentally.
- White zipper: So you can find the zipper more easily in the dark.
- Zipper with anti-snag mechanism and reinforced, durable webbing: This makes it even easier to use the zipper without pinching the outer fabric.
- Zipper with a lined zipper cover: so that heat cannot escape and thermal bridges do not form.
- Elaborately pre-formed footwell: with many compartments to prevent cold spots and plenty of room for the toes
- Feather Loops: A heated hip pouch with a heating element (Feater - The Feet Heater) can also be installed.
- Chamber Design: Box chambers, H-chambers (V-shaped), additional sidewall construction, AlmWolle layered construction on the top side
- Removable carbon heating element in the foot area: The heating element can be powered by a standard power bank (the USB port is located in the inner pocket) and is washable at 30 °C. Heating duration: The heating element heats up to a maximum of 40 °C to ensure a
