The facts at a glance
Grüezi Bag Biopod Downwool-hybrid Ice Alpine 200
The Biopod Downwool Hybrid Ice Alpine 200 from Grüezi Bag is a technical sleeping bag designed specifically for alpine tours and cold nights in the mountains. Thanks to its innovative DownWool Hybrid construction, this sleeping bag combines the excellent insulating properties of high-quality goose down with the moisture-regulating capabilities of European sheep’s wool. This combination offers outstanding thermal performance even in cold, damp conditions, while the sophisticated chamber construction minimizes cold spots and ensures even heat distribution.
With an extreme temperature rating of -27 degrees and a comfort temperature of -2 degrees, this sleeping bag is ideal for winter activities such as mountaineering, trekking, and expeditions. The Biopod Downwool Hybrid Ice Alpine 200 features numerous well-thought-out details, including an adjustable hood with a face baffle that conforms perfectly to the shape of your head, and a 3D thermal collar that prevents cold spots around the zipper. A pre-shaped footbox offers plenty of room for the toes and further enhances thermal performance.
The sleeping bag is equipped with pockets for valuables both inside and out and features a two-way Autolock zipper that can be operated from either end and prevents accidental opening. For added comfort, an optional carbon heating element can be added—ideal as a backup in case of sudden cold snaps. The non-slip bottom ensures that the sleeping bag stays securely in place on the sleeping pad, and the lightweight, durable nylon material is both wind- and water-repellent.

- Adjustable hood with face baffle: The thermal collar conforms perfectly to the shape of the head. When it's cold, only a small opening for the face remains, which minimizes heat loss from the face.
- 3D Thermal Collar: It automatically seals at the zipper area, preventing a cold bridge from forming there.
- Drawstring Bag: To keep the drawstring from getting in the way on the thermal collar, it is securely tucked away in a simple drawstring pocket.
- Interior & Exterior Pockets: For valuables and items you'd rather keep close at hand.
- Two-way Autolock Reiu00dfverschluss: The zipper can be opened and closed from either end, as well as from the inside and outside. Thanks to the Auto-Lock feature, it cannot open accidentally.
- White zipper: So you can find the zipper more easily in the dark.
- Zipper with anti-snag mechanism and reinforced, durable webbing: This makes it even easier to use the zipper without pinching the outer fabric.
- Zipper with a lined zipper cover: so that heat cannot escape and thermal bridges do not form.
- Elaborately pre-formed footwell: with many compartments to prevent cold spots and plenty of room for the toes
- Feather Loops: A heated hip pouch with a heating element (Feater - The Feet Heater) can also be installed.
- Chamber Design: Box chambers, H-chambers (V-shaped), additional sidewall construction, AlmWolle layered construction on the top side
