Edelrid Zodiac 3R

The Zodiac 3R from Edelrid is a milestone in the development of sustainable climbing equipment and the first partially recycled helmet on the market. The outer shell is made from 100% recycled climbing ropes, while the EPSinner shell is also made entirely from recycled material. Despite these environmentally friendly innovations, the helmet remains uncompromising in terms of safety, comfort and ventilation.
Ideal for activities such as mountaineering, climbing and via ferrata, the Zodiac 3R offers comprehensive protection thanks to its hybrid construction, including lateral impact protection in accordance with EN 12492. Large ventilation openings ensure optimum air exchange so that you can keep a cool head even during intense exertion. The helmet is equipped with a revised Wing Fit system that enables quick and precise adjustment to any head shape.
The retractable headband reduces the packing volume, making the helmet easy to transport. Additional comfort is provided by the fully adjustable chin strap with side buckles, which ensure a comfortable fit. Practical headlamp clips make the helmet a reliable companion even in the dark. The removable and washable padding rounds off the sophisticated design and ensures that the helmet stays fresh for a long time.
