The Edelrid Tagline 4mm is the ultimate solution for climbers who value lightness and functionality. With an impressively low weight per meter of just 10 g, it is the lightest tagline on the market. The core is made from high-strength Dyneema®, a material known for its exceptional breaking strength, while the cover is made from a blend of 75% Dyneema® and 25% polyester. This combination not only ensures maximum stability, but also improved grip and knotability, which is particularly beneficial when hauling.
The tagline is specially designed for transporting equipment and as a haul-off aid when abseiling, but is not suitable as personal protective equipment. It offers an excellent complement to a single rope and is often lighter than two classic double ropes, making it ideal for alpine climbers and bigwall adventures. Thanks to the minimal stretch and water absorption of the Dyneema® core, the tagline remains reliable and durable even in demanding conditions.
