Edelrid Starling Protect Eco Dry 8,2mm

The Starling Protect Eco Dry 8.2 mm from Edelrid is a dynamic half-rope that is ideal for activities such as hiking, climbing, alpine climbing, mountaineering, and high-altitude trekking. It offers a high level of safety under edge loads, as the sheath is reinforced with aramid fibers without compromising the rope’s dynamic properties. Thanks to its special impregnation, the rope is permanently water- and dirt-repellent. The PFC- and PFAS-free Eco Dry treatment ensures measurably lower water absorption and thus offers protection from the elements.
The rope has a diameter of 8.20 mm and a weight of 44 g/m, making it a lightweight yet sturdy companion for challenging climbs. It offers excellent handling, thanks to the Thermo Shield treatment. In addition, the rope is ready for immediate use, as it is delivered free of tangles thanks to 3D Lapcoiling technology. The center mark further facilitates handling, and the waterproofing provides additional protection.
