The facts at a glance
Edelrid Nemo Soft
The Edelrid Nemo Soft is a technical and minimalist crampon designed specifically for demanding activities such as hiking, mountaineering, high-altitude trekking, expeditions, and ice climbing. Made of high-quality steel with an abrasion-resistant coating, it features an extremely lightweight and dimensionally stable construction thanks to its three-dimensional design. The crampon is equipped with a soft binding, which is ideal for flexible footwear, and is excellent for use on glaciated terrain with rock contact.
These mountaineering crampons fit shoe sizes EU 38 through 50 with the long bridge, while the short bridge accommodates sizes 32 through 42 but is not included. A special feature is the sturdy anti-slip plate, which can be secured without screws, and the durable spring steel bridge, which ensures longevity. The innovative crampon strap buckle with a quick-release function and optional rear lock offers optimal ease of use—even when wearing gloves—and reduces ice buildup.
The Edelrid Nemo Soft allows for easy size adjustment and tool-free binding replacement, and is compatible with all EDELRID binding types and crampon components, which are available separately as optional accessories. The retention strap with strap keepers ensures the webbing is securely fastened and can be fully opened. This makes the crampon a reliable companion for anyone navigating challenging terrain.
