The detailed design is inspired by traditional Norwegian patterns, dominated by the eight-petaled rose. The jacket is made from 100% soft merino wool. Othelie means "heritage" or "wealth" and is related to our word "Odel." The name originates from Old High German and was very popular in Norway in the 1880s. (The short form of Othelie is Oda, a name that remains popular in Norway today).
