The Speed Zip 33 Backpack from Black Diamond is the ideal companion for demanding mountain tours and climbing adventures. This lightweight and robust alpine backpack is specially designed for approaches and via ferratas and offers outstanding performance thanks to its sophisticated features. The new BD X-rip 210d nylon with UTS™ coating provides increased resistance to rocks, ice and crampon points, making it the perfect partner for extreme conditions.
The clamshell design with zippered opening allows quick and easy access to your gear, while the stowable rope attachment and detachable crampon straps provide flexibility and security. The backpack is equipped with an innovative, custom-made metal ice tool holder which, together with the PickPockets™, ensures secure storage of your ice tools.
Comfort is also at the forefront: the revised shoulder strap system and the moisture-wicking back element offer improved carrying comfort and robustness, even on long tours. In addition, the back element/bivy pad and hip belt are removable to adapt the backpack to individual needs. An optional rain cover offers additional protection in adverse weather conditions.

How to measure
- 1. Torso length:Measured from the cervical vertebrae (prominent bone you feel in your neck when you tilt your head forward) to the top of your hip bone (felt in your back).
- 2. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
