Designed as a toploader, it allows quick access to the contents, while the removable lid pocket and stowable rope attachment provide additional storage space.
Made from the new BD X-rip 210d nylon with UTS™ coating, the Speed 22 not only offers durability, but also protection from the elements. A welded attachment on the front provides improved protection against rock, ice and sharp crampons. For alpinists and climbers, the specially designed metal ice tool holder with PickPockets™ and the removable crampon straps are indispensable features.
The backpack also scores points with a revised shoulder strap system that ensures improved comfort and robustness. The moisture-wicking back panel keeps the back pleasantly dry, even on strenuous tours. For additional comfort, the back element/bivy pad and hip belt can be removed if required.
