This makes it particularly well-suited for belaying, for use with a half-hitch, or as a brake carabiner with an ATC Pilot. The carabiner is made of 95% aluminum, a combination of 7075 and 6061 alloys, making it lightweight yet sturdy. The material is supplemented by 4% steel and 1% Delrin, which provide additional stability and durability. This material composition ensures a balanced combination of strength and weight, ideal for intensive outdoor use.
