Black Diamond HEX #5 Wired

The HEX #5 Wired from Black Diamond is the ideal choice for climbers looking for a reliable and versatile belay device. These Hexentrics are specifically designed for widening cracks where traditional cams often fail. The construction—80% aluminum and 20% steel—ensures robust and long-lasting performance. Thanks to their slightly asymmetrical cross-section and flat sides, the Hexes offer three different placement options. This allows climbers to use them flexibly in various crack shapes by simply rotating them around their axes.
The HEX #5 Wired is equipped with durable, galvanized steel cables that ensure safe and long-lasting use. These features make it particularly well-suited for a variety of rock surfaces and offer climbers a high degree of flexibility when selecting anchor points. Whether for traditional climbing or challenging alpine routes, the HEX #5 Wired provides the safety and adaptability climbers need.
